Siegmar Ehrhardt

Siegmar Ehrhardt (born January 23, 1953 ) is a former German soccer player. In 1977 he played for the BSG Wismut Gera in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

After Siegmar Ehrhardt had last played soccer for the district league team Stahl Merseburg, he joined the second-class company sports association (BSG) Wismut Gera in May 1975 . This had just become the season winner and took part in the promotion round to the GDR Oberliga. Ehrhardt took part in all eight games, but Gera missed promotion in third place. In the following GDR league season 1975/76 he played eleven of the 22 league games and was successful with two goals. In 1976/77 Ehrhardt played with 18 stakes and two goals again in the Gera team. At the end of the season, Gera had become the first in the season and again took part in the promotion round to the GDR Oberliga. After eight games, Gera had made the promotion as second in the promotion round, Ehrhardt had been involved in three games. In the Oberliga Wismut Gera came up with several new players, and Ehrhardt lost his place in the regular team. He was only substituted on the 3rd and 5th Bundesliga match days for six and 45 minutes respectively. Ehrhardt then withdrew from competitive sports at the end of the season at the age of 25.
