The Sierra Madera crater is an impact crater in the southwestern Pecos County in the state of Texas in the United States . The central mountain of the impact crater rises about 242 m above the surroundings. The Sierra Madera crater is on private property in the area of La Escalera Ranch .

It has a diameter of 13 kilometers and its age is estimated to be less than 100 million years.
