Sigrid Brinkmann

Sigrid Brinkmann (born June 21, 1942 in Breslau ) is a German tax advisor and former member of the Hamburg Parliament for the CDU .

Life

Sigrid Brinkmann passed her Abitur in 1961 at the mathematics and science branch of the Albert Schweitzer Gymnasium in Hamburg-Ohlsdorf . From 1961 to 1966 she studied economics and business administration at the University of Hamburg . She took a year off from studying because of the birth of her first child. During the lecture periods with reduced number of hours, she also worked as a post office worker and as a clerk in the mineral oil industry. After graduating as a business graduate , from 1966 she worked initially as a loan officer at a public-law credit institution, and later as an executive officer of a north German regional bank.

In 1972 she started her own business, initially as a business economist , since 1974 as a tax agent , and from 1977 as a tax advisor. She is married and has two kids.

Sigrid Brinkmann joined the CDU in 1973. From 1974 to 1982 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament for her party. She was mainly involved in the budget committee and as a deputy in the port and economy committee .
