Sigrid Kruse

Sigrid Kruse (born February 9, 1941 in Berlin ) is a German writer .

Life

Sigrid Kruse spent her childhood and youth in the Ruhr area . She completed an apprenticeship as a qualified librarian at the Librarian Training Institute of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in Cologne and then worked in the public library system in her place of residence, Duisburg .

Sigrid Kruse is the author of short stories and poems .

Sigrid Kruse is a member of the Association of German Writers , the Ruhr Literature Office and GEDOK . She received u. a. 1984 the Poetry Prize for Culture in North Rhine-Westphalia , 1985 and 1992 a grant from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and in 2004 the Oberhausen Literature Prize .
