Hans-Martin Große-Oetringhaus

Hans-Martin Große-Oetringhaus (born February 16, 1948 in Schalksmühle-Klagebach / Sauerland ) is a German educator and writer.

Life

Hans-Martin Große-Oetringhaus grew up in Unna-Hemmerde . He completed a teaching degree , which he graduated as a qualified pedagogue. In 1973/74 he worked in a homeless community . He then continued his studies and received his doctorate in 1977 at the Pedagogical University of Muenster with a work on education in South Africa Dr. ped. From 1978 to 1979, Große-Oetringhaus was a research assistant at the German Institute for Scientific Education in Münster , after which he taught at the University of Münster . From 1984 he worked in the field of media education for the Terre des Hommes children's aid organization in Osnabrück . Numerous trips and study visits took him to Africa , Asia , Latin America and Australia . Große-Oetringhaus lives in Krefeld .

In addition to educational specialist treatises and teaching materials, Große-Oetringhaus also published narrative works for children and young people, mostly on topics from the Third World.

He is a member of the Association of German Writers .
