Silas Kreienbühl

Silas Kreienbühl (born November 8, 1983 in Hildisrieden ) is a Swiss artist and curator.

Life

Silas Kreienbühl grew up in Hildisrieden and Neudorf . After graduating from high school , he studied at the Zurich University of the Arts and shortly afterwards switched to the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, where he completed the “Art and Communication” course in 2009 with a “Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts”. From 2007 to 2011 he was in the cantonal management of the Pfadi Luzern , the last two years of which as canton manager.

Since 2010 Silas Kreienbühl has been director of the KKLB (“ Art and Culture in the Landessender Beromünster ”), where he is responsible for exhibitions as a curator and also participates in exhibitions as an artist. The KKLB is one of the largest art and culture projects in Switzerland. Together with the artist Wetz , Silas Kreienbühl organizes and supervises the “Art in the Spital” project at the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital in Lucerne.

Kreienbühl has been managing the KKLB branch in Berlin since January 2017.
