Wetz (artist)

Werner Alois Zihlmann alias Wetz (born January 18, 1961 in Wolhusen ) is a Swiss painter, object artist and sculptor. He lives and works in Sursee , Beromünster , Fulda and Belp .

Life

After an apprenticeship as a structural draftsman and training as a psychiatric nurse, Werner Zihlmann took courses at the Lucerne School of Applied Arts and the Berlin University of the Arts .

Since the mid-1980s, Wetz worked as a freelance artist in Wolhusen and Berlin. From 2003 to 2010 he ran the so-called Wetz museums in Uffikon , which were expanded into a total work of art as art and culture in the country , including KKL Uffikon and Tempelhof Uffikon in Dagmersellen . After the company closed in 2010, Zihlmann started his new project Art and Culture in the Beromünster regional transmitter (KKLB) in the former premises of the Beromünster regional transmitter . a. in collaboration with Roman Signer , Rochus Lussi, Alois Hermann, Silas Kreienbühl and Sipho Mabona .
