Silberschlag is an impact crater on the front of the moon northeast of the Agrippa crater and south of the Rima Ariadaeus moon groove . The crater is bowl-shaped and hardly eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German naturalist Johann Esaias Silberschlag .
