Silicone Soul

Silicone Soul is a techno and house music project, consisting of the two Scots Craig Morrisons and Graeme Reedies .

history

Both initially played together in the rock band Dead City Radio , later they switched to techno and house. You are the founder of the Darkroom Dubs label . There were also parties in Glasgow under the title Darkroom Dub Sessions . Silicone Soul have made remixes for artists such as Schatrax, Röyksopp and Roger Sanchez .

At the beginning of the 1990s both came into contact with the group Slam from Glasgow and were signed for the Soma Recordings label . In 2000, Silicone Soul's debut album "A Soul Thing" was released. The resulting single "Right On!", A homage to Curtis Mayfield , reached the top 20 of the British charts.

They later played as resident DJs at Club La Terrazza in Barcelona .

Her second album "Staring Into Space" was created with Louise Marshall , who was featured on the single "Right On!".
