Roger Sanchez (* 1. June 1967 in New York ) is an American producer and House - DJ .

Career

Even in his youth, various musical styles such as salsa , disco and hip-hop played a formative role for him, which he reflects in his current productions. Roger Sanchez gave up his original architecture studies in 1987 in favor of music. Among other things, he used his time away from there for the production of remixes by well-known artists such as Janet and Michael Jackson .

In 2001 he released his debut album First Contact with his own tracks. With his song Another Chance he stormed the charts worldwide and reached first place in Great Britain in 2001 . Another Chance is based on a sample of I Won't Hold You Back by the Californian rock band Toto .

In 2006 he produced the remix of Madonna -title Get Together .

Roger Sanchez has landed numerous hits worldwide in the last few years and is still a commercially successful club DJ. He often uses vocal parts in his productions.
