Silke of Bremen
Silke von Bremen (* 1959 in Stade ) is a qualified geographer, lives and works on Sylt as a travel writer and tour guide .
Life
Silke von Bremen grew up on a fruit farm in Steinkirchen (Altes Land) . During her studies at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel , she met her husband, the Sylt photographer Hans Jessel , and moved with him to the island in 1989. She works as a freelance tour guide, works as a local researcher and regularly publishes texts and books about Sylt.
