Steinkirchen ( Low German Steenkark ) is a municipality in the Stade district in Lower Saxony . The municipality is a member and the administrative seat of the joint municipality Lühe .

The community is located in the Altes Land , the largest fruit-growing area in Europe, directly on the Lower Elbe and Lühe between Stade and Hamburg .
