Blazon : “In blue with a red three-mountain; above four fan-shaped golden (yellow) ears, below a silver (white) oak with golden (yellow) acorns. "

On March 12, 2015, the municipal council decided on a new coat of arms. The ears of wheat symbolize the four districts of Aspe, Essel, Kutenholz and Mulsum, from which the new municipality of Kutenholz emerged on July 1, 1972. The Dreiberg stands for the Stader Geest and the oak comes from the coat of arms of the former municipality of Kutenholz. Here the heraldic color rule was violated, which states that colors must not border on colors, but only on metals (gold and silver).
