Geographical location

In the municipality of Sauensiek, the Litberg is the highest point in the Stade district. It has a height of 65 m above sea ​​level and is designated as a landscape protection area.

Neighboring communities

In the north of the municipality of Sauensiek are the municipalities of Beckdorf and Apensen , which also belong to the joint municipality of Apensen . In the west, the municipality of Sauensiek borders on the combined municipality of Harsefeld with the municipalities of Ahlerstedt and Harsefeld . The Harburg district begins in the east . The neighboring communities of Regesbostel , Holvede and Halvesbostel are all in the joint community of Hollenstedt . The district of Rotenburg (Wümme) can be found in the south . This is where the communities of Wohnste and Vierden (both of which are Sittensen ) border the community of Sauensiek.
