Siloking Mayer Maschinenbau GmbH (spelling SILOKING) is a family-run company in the field of agricultural engineering that develops, produces and sells feeding technology under the Siloking brand. The company is based in Tittmoning , Germany .
Siloking produces vertical feed mixing technology such as trailed vertical feed mixers , self-propelled vertical feed mixers, electrically driven vertical feed mixers, stationary vertical mixing and dosing systems as well as silage removal and distribution devices.
The product group of self-propelled feed mixing technology, which is produced and sold under the name Siloking SelfLine, was awarded the DLG gold medal for its introduction at Eurotier 2004 . Since 2019, 2000 SILOKING SelfLine have been placed on the market. The company is a member of the VDMA , in the agricultural engineering department.
The Siloking brand had an export share of over 50% in 2019/2020, with feeding technology being exported to over 50 countries. The products are sold through the branches OOO Siloking Rus, in Lipetsk (RU), Siloking Agricultural Machinery Beijing Co. Ltd., which are part of the Siloking group of companies . in Beijing (CN) and Siloking do Brasil comércio de equipmentos agropecuários LTDA, Sao Jose do Rio Preto (BR). There is also a network of importers who also look after the agricultural machinery trade in the respective country, for example in Canada, the Netherlands and other countries.
Awards
DLG Gold Medal 2004: In the same year as the Siloking SelfLine was launched on the market, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) awarded the self-propelled feed mixer with the 2004 gold medal “Eurotier”.
DLG-recognized: Overall test: The two self-propelled feed mixer wagons Siloking SelfLine 4.0 Premium 2215 19 m³ and the SelfLine 4.0 Compact 13 m³ received the "DLG recognized overall test" seal in 2016. The self-propelled feed mixer wagons were tested in practical use with regard to their functional properties in the overall test. The mixing accuracy and the milling performance or the mixing accuracy, the milling performance and the fuel consumption performed above the standard according to the DLG test report.
history
From sales of agricultural technology to agricultural technology manufacturer
The company was founded in 1983 as a representative for agricultural machinery, including silo block cutters and wood splitters.
After the introduction of the “Flixbox” calf igloo and the “Happycow” cow cleaning brush, the company started producing feeding technology in 1993. With the introduction of the silo comb, Siloking begins to develop and produce agricultural machinery itself.
Trademark registration and entry into feed mixing technology
The Siloking brand was registered in 1996 and is still protected as a word mark in more than 40 countries.
In 1997 the first Siloking mixer wagon (Siloking TrailedLine) was presented. The creation of a mixed ration for ruminants is thus possible, the feed is mixed, transported and discharged with a machine.
The Siloking self-propelled
In 2004 the Siloking self-propelled machine was brought onto the market and in the same year was awarded the gold medal "Impulse for Progress" at the EuroTier by the DLG (German Agricultural Society ).
In 2009 the Siloking SelfLine family was enlarged, the Siloking SelfLine System 1,000+ with a capacity of 30 m³ was presented. It is designed for large and very large farms with 1,000 and more cows or biogas plants.
10 years after the introduction of the Siloking SelfLine, the Tittmoningen company was able to produce its 1,000th self-propelled mixer feeder.
In the same year the three Siloking branches in Russia, China and Brazil were founded.
The fully electric feeding
Siloking is the only manufacturer in the industry to present the first fully electric battery-powered mixer feeder.
The Siloking eTruck was presented at the Eurotier in 2016, two years later the Siloking eSilokamm will be presented at the Eurotier 2018. So far (as of 2020) 100 pieces of electrically operated feeding technology have been sold. The 2,000th SelfLine left the plant in mid-2019. Between 2004 and 2019, Siloking delivered 2,000 self-propelled vehicles worldwide.
Locations
In addition to production, the development department is also located at the main location in Tittmoning. Customer service, sales and marketing are bundled in Tittmoning-Kirchheim. In addition to the location in Germany, there is another production location under the company Siloking Slovakia sro in Záhorská Ves .
In addition to the production branches, Siloking has further service and sales branches in China, Russia and Brazil, each with its own corporate structure.
