Silvana Blasi

Silvana Blasi (born September 29, 1931 ; † May 13, 2017 in Ancona ) was an Italian actress .

After a supporting role in Stenos Totò a colori (alongside comedian Totò ), she became known with the leading role in Ma femme est une panthère in 1960. At the side of Jean Richard she played his wife Christine, who at times turns into a panther. In addition to a few other films, she achieved international fame as Silvana, the over-the-top neighbor of the young couple Claude Jade and Jean-Pierre Léaud in François Truffauts Tisch und Bett (1970). She was at times confidante of Christine's marriage crisis and also had the bitter closing words when Antoine and Christine copied their behavior - coat and bag end up in the stairwell, where Christine hurriedly snatches them: "Now they really love each other".

Silvana Blasi had other roles in Claude Chabrol's The Tenth Day (1971) and as Mrs. Evans alongside Charles Bronson and Anthony Perkins in The Came from the Dark / The Murderer Behind the Door (1971).
