Silvia Legrand (actually María Aurelia Paula Martínez Suárez ; born February 23, 1927 in Villa Cañás , Santa Fe province; † May 1, 2020 in Martínez , Argentina) was an Argentine actress .

Life

Silvia Legrand and her twin sister Mirtha Legrand were born on February 23, 1927 in Villa Cañás. Her older brother was the director and screenwriter José A. Martínez Suárez (1925-2019).

In 1940 she and her sister got their first roles in the film Hay que educar a Niní . Until 1942 she appeared in a few films at the side of her sister, after which several independent roles followed. In the 1970s, she retired from acting.

Legrand was married to the officer Eduardo Lópina from 1944 until his death in 2005. The marriage resulted in two daughters.
