Silvio Maestranzi

Silvio Maestranzi (* 1934 in Bozen ) is an Italian television director .

Life

Maestranzi graduated in political science and then attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia , where he graduated in directing in 1958 . After brief episodes as assistant director and screenwriter , he went to television, where he was responsible for many information and reportage programs , including L'insurrezione di Varsavia and some episodes of Di fronte alla legge . From 1974 he directed television films such as L'assassinio dei fratelli Rosselli , Tecnica di un colpo di stato and L'ombra nel dubbio with great success . Numerous documentaries - he made a decisive contribution to the publicity of Alcoholics Anonymous in Italy through his L'inferno dentro in January 1978 - are also part of Maestranzi's filmography.
