Silvio Sericano
Silvio Attilio Sericano († 1957 ) was an Italian clergyman and diplomat.
Career
Sericano was from Tortona . In 1925 he became a member of the diplomatic corps of the Holy See . He was initially an alderman for Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama and El Salvador. In 1926 he was appointed secretary for Central America, 1929 secretary for Austria and in 1933 auditor for Austria.
From 1936 he was chargé d'affaires in the democratically elected government of Spain in Valencia. In 1937 he became an alderman in the service of the State Secretariat of the Vatican and in 1939 Nunciature Council in the service of the 1st Department of the State Secretariat. From 1940 until his death he was Undersecretary for Extraordinary Affairs in the State Secretariat.
