Silvio Wicht is a former German rugby player and official.

Career

Silvio Wicht played a total of four times for the GDR's national rugby union team . He played alongside the brothers Helmut Busse and Torsten Busse together on the position of prop in the first row in the national team and in the club BSG Stahl Brandenburg in the league. The greatest success with the club was the runner-up in the GDR league in the 1987/88 season behind Stahl Hennigsdorf . After the political change he played in the club, renamed SG Stahl Brandenburg , for many years in the Regionalliga and in the years 2000 to 2002 and 2005 to 2007 in the 2. Bundesliga North / East. Wicht worked as a youth warden in the club.
