Simon Alexandre Toudouze (born July 30, 1850 in Paris , † July 1909 in Aix-les-Bains ) was a French landscape painter.

Life

Toudouze was the son of the landscape painter Jean Marie Émile Toudouze. In addition to his father's painting training, he was also a student of the painter Adolphe Monticelli . He found the diverse motifs of his paintings within France, especially in Brittany and Savoy, as well as on his travels through Belgium, Holland, England, Germany and Italy. He was a member of the Paris-based Société des Artistes Français and took part in their salon several times.

In 1892 he had the so-called "Villa Raphaël" built in Aix-les-Bains and lived there with his wife until his death.
