Ousmane Simon Dia (born July 17, 1992 in Saint-Quentin ) is a French football player .

Career

Simon Dia learned to play football in the youth teams of OSC Lille and FC Valenciennes . He signed his first contract with Valenciennes FC in 2010. He was not used in the first team. From 2011 to 2014 he played a total of 45 times in the club's second team. In 2012 he left France and moved to al-Duhail SC on loan to Qatar . In 2014 he returned to France and joined SC Amiens . After 17 games, he moved to Olympique Saint-Quentin in 2015 . Here he scored 21 goals in 51 games. From 2017 to mid-2019 he played for Entente Sannois Saint-Gratien . Here he was on the field 47 times and scored seven goals. In mid-2019 he went to Thailand . There he joined the second division Police Tero FC from Bangkok . With Police Tero, he finished the 2019 season as runner-up in the Thai League 2 and thus rose to the first division, the Thai League . At the end of the season, his contract was not renewed. Since December 2019 he has been without a contract and without a club.
