Simon Hegelich (* 1976 ) is a German political scientist .

Life

Hegelich received his doctorate in 2006 from the Westphalian Wilhelms University and completed his habilitation there in 2012. At the University of Siegen, he was managing director of the research college "Shaping the future of humanity" (FoKoS). In 2016 he accepted a professorship for Political Data Science at the Munich School of Politics .
