Simon Vukčević (in Cyrillic Симон Вукчевић ; born January 29, 1986 in Titograd ) is a Montenegrin football player .

Career

Vukčević began his career at FK Partizan Belgrade , where he played until December 2005. In 2005 he won the Belgrade championship with Partizan. In January 2006 he moved to Saturn Ramenskoje . For the 2007/08 season he moved to Sporting Lisbon . There he won the Taça de Portugal in 2008 . In August 2011 he moved to England for Blackburn Rovers , and in the 2012/13 winter break to Karpaty Lviv in Ukraine .

Vukčević completed five games for the Serbian-Montenegrin national football team from 2004 to 2004 and scored one goal in six games for the U-21s. On March 24, 2007 he made his debut in the game against Hungary in the Montenegrin national football team .
