Simone Bell (* in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party .

Simone Bell attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur . She works as an organizer in Atlanta . Since December 22, 2009, Bell has been a member of the Georgia House of Representatives , where she succeeded the retired Democrat Robbin Shipp . She represents the 58th district of the state, which consists of parts of DeKalb County and Fulton County . She lives in Atlanta with her partner Valerie Acree.
