Simone Katrin Paul (born November 19, 1966 in Güstrow ) is a German writer and translator who is best known for the publication of poetry.

life and work

Simone Katrin Paul was born in Güstrow in 1966. First she studied from 1988 to 1991 at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . She then completed a degree in theater studies from 1991 to 1996 at the University of Leipzig . Then she moved to Berlin, where she worked as a dramaturge at various theaters.

She has been publishing books of poetry and lyrical prose since 1992. Paul regularly reads from her works at cultural events. In 1998 she translated all of William Shakespeare's sonnets from English.

Today Simone Katrin Paul lives and works in Berlin.
