Simone Pavan (born April 29, 1974 in Latisana , UD ) is an Italian football player . The central defender is currently playing in Serie C2 for Calcio Portogruaro Summaga .

Atalanta Bergamo , where Pavan played when he was young, was his first professional club. In 1995 he moved to SSC Venice , where he has played the longest (7 years) so far. Subsequently, Pavan moved to FC Modena in 2002 , from where he moved to Sampdoria Genoa in 2004 . In 2006 he moved to AS Livorno on a free transfer and signed a two-year contract there. In the second half of the 2006/2007 season he was promoted to a regular at Livorno. In 2008 he left Livorno and moved to Serie C2 at Portogruaro.
