Simone Singh
Simone Singh (born November 10, 1974 in Jamshedpur , Jharkhand ) is an Indian actress .
biography
In 1995, Singh made her acting debut on the television series Swabhimaan . She made her breakthrough with the lead role in the series Heena , which was the most watched television series in India at the time. In addition, she played small roles in various blockbusters such as the musical romance In good as in hard days (2001) and the comedic drama Live and don't think of tomorrow (2003) alongside Bollywood great Shah Rukh Khan . Singh received a Stardust Award for her performance in the dramatic musical film Sur - The Melody of Life (2002). Singh played a leading role in the 2005 dramatic thriller Being Cyrus . In 2009 she first starred alongside Soha Ali Khan in the comedy film 99 and in the same year alongside another icon of Indian film, Amitabh Bachchan , in the mystery thriller Rann . In 2014, in addition to the Indian Telly Award, Singh also received an India Television Academy Award for her performance in the television series Ek Hasina Thi , in which she played the role of the mighty Sakshi Goenka.
In 2005, Singh was a jury member for the first International Emmy Awards.
