Sinéad ( Irish pronunciation [ ʃɪˈnʲeːd̪ ], English pronunciation [ ʃɪˈneɪd ]) is a female given name of Irish origin. It is derived from Siobhán and has the same Hebrew origin as Jeannette , Jana or Johanna , which means "God is gracious".
