Sinah-1 is an earth observation satellite of Iran.

The satellite was launched on October 28, 2005 at 6:52 UTC with a Russian Kosmos-3M from the Plesetsk rocket launch site into a 680 km high sun-synchronous orbit with an inclination of 98.1 °. Sinah-1 was manufactured in Russia by NPO Poljot . The cost for the 160 kg and 0.8 × 1.3 × 1.6 m satellite was $ 44 million. The resolution is given with 50 m panchromatic and 250 m multispectral, the swath width with 50 km or 500 km.
