Sebastian Forke (born March 13, 1987 ) is a former German cyclist .

Career

Sebastian Forke was German junior champion in the Madison on the track in 2004 . In 2005 he won silver in the points race at the European Junior Championships . He also won a stage at the Sint-Martinusprijs .

In 2006, Forke received his first contract with an international cycling team with Continental Team Milram . In his second season there he won the U23 Bundesliga race Cottbus-Görlitz-Cottbus and a stage in the Brandenburg Tour .

In the next few years he won the overall standings and four stages at Dookoła Mazowsza in 2010 and a stage of the Course de la Solidarité Olympique and the one-day race Ronde van Midden-Nederland in 2013 .

After Forke was unable to agree on a contract for 2014 with interested teams, he ended his international career and started working as a customer service representative for the German-speaking region of the bike manufacturer Specialized in early December 2014 .
