Brandenburg tour

The Brandenburg Tour is a former German bike race . The organizer is Radsport Brandenburg e. V.

The stage race was organized by the Radsport Brandenburg e. V. organized and belonged to the U23 national cycling league. It was held for the first time in 2001. After the first three events, the tour paused for three years, but racing was resumed in 2007. The race took place annually in September and includes flat circuit races and stages with medium-difficult profiles as well as time trials. The tour leads mainly on bad roads in Brandenburg , sometimes the course also leads through neighboring Poland .

In 2008 the tour took place from September 9th to 14th. There were five stages that started in Spremberg , Senftenberg , Guben , Velten and Templin . As in the previous year, the winner was Olympian and silver medalist from Beijing, Roger Kluge .

In 2009, the planned tour had to be canceled due to a lack of support from stage cities and sponsors, and there was no new edition later either.
