Sinar Mas Center is a skyscraper in Shanghai . The building, designed by the American architecture firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill , will reach a height of 320 meters when completed. Construction work began in 2008. At the beginning it was planned that the building would be 388 meters high. Later the height was reduced to 260 meters. In a third and final design, the height of the high-rise was set at 320 meters. White Magnolia Plaza will have 66 floors to house offices. The facade will be completely clad with glass. Completion was previously planned for 2012, but work was stopped in April 2010 and only continued again in early 2011, so that the completion date was delayed to 2016.
