Sing out! is a quarterly American folk music magazine. It is published by the non-profit organization of the same name. Folk is interpreted in a broad sense in that z. B. children's songs , work songs , songwriter , Americana , Blues , Bluegrass , Roots and World Music are included.

Sing out! has been published since 1950 and is an important source of information on the folk revival movement. The self-imposed task of the magazine and organization is to “promote and preserve the cultural diversity of traditional and contemporary music of the people, as well as to promote independent music making in everyday life” (to preserve and support the cultural diversity and heritage of all traditional and contemporary folk musics, and to encourage making folk music a part of our everyday lives.) .
