Sascha Boller (born February 16, 1984 in Pforzheim ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Boller began his career in the youth of SV Hohenwart. From there he moved to VfB Stuttgart in the E-Jugend , and then after seven years to Karlsruher SC . After his youth he moved to the then national league club FC Germania Brötzingen , which he left for TSG Hoffenheim after half a year . There he first played for the second team before coach Hansi Flick called him to the regional league squad the following year . Even under his successor Lorenz-Günther Köstner , Boller was often considered.

In the 2006/07 season he had practically no more regional league appearances under the new coach Ralf Rangnick ; he played mainly for the second team in the major league . During the winter break of the 2007/08 season, he was signed by the second division team SpVgg Greuther Fürth , for whom he played for the first time as a professional on April 8, 2008 in the game against TSV 1860 Munich . In the 2008/09 season Sascha Boller moved to the Regionalliga Süd for SSV Reutlingen .

In January 2010 he left SSV Reutlingen and moved to Eintracht Frankfurt , where he was used in the second team in 16 games (2 goals) of the Regionalliga Süd. In the summer of 2010, Boller moved to the first division in Austria for SC Austria Lustenau . With the Vorarlbergers he moved into the final of the ÖFB Cup 2011 . On March 19, 2013, he signed a contract with SV Grödig that was valid from July 1, 2013 . After one and a half years with the Salzburgers, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement in mid-October 2014.
