A Singalong , even Singalong (of English. To sing along , dt. Sing ), is an event for the performance of choral works .

In a singalong, works for choir and orchestra are played by a professional orchestra. The choir parts and partly also the arias are performed by the audience. In addition to the admission ticket, the condition for participation is possession of the relevant sheet music , e.g. B. a piano reduction . The audience is divided according to their pitch in the church or concert hall. Singalongs find z. B. in the Royal Albert Hall in London , St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna , the main church St. Trinity in Hamburg-Altona , in the Salzburg Cathedral in churches of Amsterdam or in Frankfurt am Main and in the Neustädter Church in Hanover .
