The Singkreis Good News is one of John Haas Called into being mixed choir sacred music .
The singing community was formed from Johannes Haas' many years of choral work with the Derschlag parish choir as well as befriended singers, such as his former youth for Christ Choir . With the first German recording of the Passion Oratorio The Crucifixion by John Stainer , the choir released its debut in 1979 under the parish choir Derschlag . In addition to complete recordings, numerous concept albums followed such as composer portraits, Christmas albums, concepts with the Christian and Evangelical Singers Association and, last but not least, two projects under the title This is my song about favorite songs of celebrities of the time - including Helmut Kohl , Helmut Schmidt and Hanna-Renate Laurien .
After the death of Johannes Haas, the Singkreis has been performing since 2003 under the direction of Doris Loh .
