Sintje Lessner

Sintje Leßner (* 1973 or 1974 in Stuttgart ) is a German lawyer and judge at the constitutional court for the state of Baden-Württemberg .

Life

Leßner studied law in Augsburg and from 2000 worked first as a public prosecutor, then as a civil judge in Stuttgart. In 2002 she was seconded to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice, where she took over the management of the central office in 2005 and became deputy head of department in 2010. Since May 2017, Leßner has been President of the State Judicial Examination Office of Baden-Württemberg.

On June 6, 2018, the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg elected Leßner as a member of the constitutional court for the state of Baden-Württemberg with 120 votes out of 130. Their term of office runs until July 2027.

Leßner is one of the editors of the administrative gazettes for Baden-Württemberg .
