Siripong Siripool

Siripong Siripool ( Thai : ศิริพงษ์ ศิริ ภู ล ; born September 9, 1965 in Surin ) is a former Thai badminton player .

Athletic career

In 1992 Siripong Siripool started in men's doubles at the Olympics. There he won his first round match with Pramote Teerawiwatana , but lost in the second round and was ninth. Four years later he was with Khunakorn Sudhisodhi at the start, but lost there in the opening game. In 1998 he finished third again with Pramote Teerawiwatana at the Brunei Open . Both also win silver at the Asian Games in the same year .

He won nationally for the first time at the Thai championships in 1989 in men's doubles with Teerawiwatana and in mixed with Ladawan Mulasartsatorn . Two more double titles, one with Teerawiwatana and one with Khunakorn Sudhisodhi , followed until 1996. In mixed he was successful three times with Ladawan Mulasartsatorn, three times with Pornsawan Plungwechsel and once with Kannika Thanupran .
