Sisinnius (antipope)
Sisinnius (also Zizinio , * in the 8th century; † after February 824) was cardinal of the Roman Church and is said to have briefly been an antipope .
He was in front of 824 of Pope I. Paschalis for Cardinal priest appointed. In the papal election in February 824, he is said to have been elected pope against Eugene II , but resigned after just one month.
Sisinnius is only mentioned by a few authors as an antipope; he does not appear in the official lists of the Annuario Pontificio .
