Siti Musdah Mulia (born March 3, 1958 ) is an Indonesian Muslim lawyer and Islamic women's rights activist. She is the President of the Indonesian Conference for Justice and Peace, an organization made up of religious associations that work for dialogue, justice and peace. Siti Musdah Mulia works as a lecturer in law at the University of Islam Syarif Hidayatullah (Syarief Hidayatullah Islamic University) in Jakarta , Indonesia .

She initiated an important campaign to renew the view of women in Islam and is the representative of the Islamic movement Nahdatul Ulama , the largest Muslim movement in Indonesia with 45 million followers. In 2007 Siti Musdah Mulia received the International Women of Courage Award for her commitment .

Siti Musdah Mulia takes the position that homosexuality and Islam are compatible. At a conference in Jakarta, moderate Islamists declared that homosexuality and its world religion are not in contradiction; Siti Musdah Mulia was among the participants.
