Sitora Farmonova (born August 20, 1984 in Buxoro , Uzbek SSR , Soviet Union ) is an Uzbek actress and singer who is considered a pop star in her homeland. When Sitora was 13 years old, Sitora's family moved to Tashkent . After graduating from school, she studied at the Tashkent State Institute of Art ( Uzbek san'at instituti ). She played numerous roles in films and television productions. In 2011 she took on the lead role in the film Baikonur . The actress is also excellent vocally and has recorded several singles. She gives guest appearances in Kazakhstan and Russia . Farmonova is single.
