Skælingur [ ˈskɛaːlɪŋgʊɹ ] ( Danish name : Skælling ) is a place in the Faroe Islands in the west of the main island of Streymoy .

The small village lies at the foot of the 767-meter-high Skælingsfjall , which was once believed to be the highest in the archipelago.
