The Skeen Rocks are two small rock islands west of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located south of Avian Island, off the southern end of Adelaide Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them on February 12, 1964 after Lieutenant Michael George C. Skeen (1933-1994), officer on duty in the helicopter flights of the HMS Protector in the service of the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office to map this area between 1961 and 1961 1963.
