Skeggles Water is a lake in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The lake is east of Kentmere and west of Longsleddale Valley.
The lake has two unnamed tributaries on its northwest side. The Skeggles Water Dyke forms its drain on the south side.
The extraction of diatomaceous earth from the lake was considered for a while , as was done in the Kentmere Tarn , but the plan was not carried out.
