The 2011 Junior Skeleton World Championship was the ninth edition of the Junior Skeleton World Championship and took place between January 31 and February 6, 2011 in Park City . For the first time in the history of the Skeleton Junior World Championships, the junior world championship titles were not awarded in Europe, but on a track in North America. In the women's category, Robynne Thompson was the second Canadian after Sarah Reid ( 2008 ) and only the third non-German rider after Sarah Reid and Melissa Hoar ( 2006 ) to secure the junior world championship. In the men's race, the German Alexander Kröckel won the junior world championship.
