The Skeleton Junior World Championship 2012 was the 10th edition of the Skeleton Junior World Championship and took place between January 23 and 29, 2012 in the Austrian city of Innsbruck on the Igls bobsleigh rink . In the women's category , Elizabeth Yarnold , who won the silver medal last year, was the first British female skeleton skier to win the junior world championship. In comparison to this, Greg Kirk , a British pilot, was able to become Junior World Champion as early as 2004 . In the men's category, Axel Jungk won the competition and secured the junior world championship title in the German triple victory.
