The Skep Point is an ice-free and towering headland in the northeast of the Antarctic James Ross Island . It is located 8 km west-northwest of Ula Point .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey surveyed the headland in 1945 and 1953. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee descriptively named them in 1957. Seen from the sea side, it is reminiscent of a so-called Stülper ( English skep ), a special variant of the traditional beehive .
