Sketchometry ( portmanteau of sketch (sketch) and ge ometry (geometry)) is a dynamic geometry software (DGS) , the all-in JavaScript has been developed. It has been developed since 2011/2012 by the Research Center for Mobile Learning with Digital Media at the University of Bayreuth , under the direction of Peter Baptist , Alfred Wassermann and Carsten Miller. Sketchometry sees itself as a successor to Geonext , Geonext files can be edited.
With Sketchometry, constructions can be drawn on the PC, smartphone or tablet with the mouse or the finger. The software converts the sketches into geometric constructions that the user can then change and move.
Sketchometry is free and can be used freely both at school and at home. It is supported by almost every browser.
