Åkerby Sculpture Park
The sculpture park Åkerby is a sculpture park with works of today's modern sculpture in Sweden .
The park with an area of six hectares is located on the west bank of Fåsjön on Åkerby Herrgård , about 9 km (as the crow flies) north-northwest of the municipality of Nora in Västmanland in the province of Örebro County .
In this largest sculpture park in Sweden there are 132 sculptures (as of 2010), installations and works of Land Art .
Sculptors who exhibit work in this park include Swedish - including Richard Brixel with Mona from 1987 and Fredrik Vretman with Goa Trans - and international sculptors .
